Alteration + Addition to existing heritage listed residence in Battery Point.
Overcoming various heritage constraints, and working within a tight budget, the Clarke Thompson house provides a modern and functional insertion that harmonises and compliments the existing building fabric.
Whilst the addition appears in its own right as a beautiful object, in accordance with heritage guidelines, the new portion of the dwelling remains essentially invisible from the streets above and below.
