This low cost, low impact project is to be located about an hour North of Hobart on Tasmania's east coast.

The shacks are designed as two pavilions, linked by a covered deck.

The north-eastern orientation of the site allow the buildings to capture the stunning coastal views, whilst allowing effective demonstration of passive solar design principles, including double glazing throughout and polished concrete floors to act as heat sinks.

The project strives to demonstrate that responsible desgn principles can be employed in affordable architectural design.

Construction has finished on schedule, completed early 2009
